fly me to the moon...

Merci merci beaucoup you lovely lovely people for dropping by
BonBonniere and purchasing something from our booth! I am graciously touched by the overwhelming support ♥

I really missed out on meeting all of you gems! I do apologize for my absence (though I secretly hope it makes your hearts grow fonder *wink) and look forward to seeing you at the next bazaar.

Weren't our booth fairies and elves of such spectacular help?! I do hope they assisted you well. I heard my old man (one of the booth elves) was hard at work over at Little Joys corner. Hope the old man didn't spook y'all out *giggle*.. he was really glad to help his kid out and also to be part of the market.. hee. I am so blessed to have such dear people in my lives. People who would sacrifice a lazy Saturday to come hold my fort... *sigh* "You're the lucky one. No I'm the lucky one" =w=

I heard so many of you asked after our fabulous guest book :) Get 'em (and so many more) at I Love Snackfood!

Alot of you were also interested in purchasing our brass Eiffel Tower (bought in Paris) and 'Keep Calm & Carry On Shopping' sign (bought in London) which is so delightful! Alas, they're not for sale.. display purpose only ;) Our *bisou* lightblok is a custom-made from Thesyemism

Everything was almost sold out that day and we're currently on full-force preparing for Urbanscapes next month!

We do hope you had good fun at Chic Pop.. we most definitely had a blast!

Did you get whisked away by our whimsical hot-air balloon into a castle up in the cotton-candy clouds?? Reminds me of Murni's romantic proposal.. *sigh* :)

faq une

We really appreciate all the wonderful feedback and (in one instance) unicorn dust directed our way since our debut!

It's been such a whirlwind and we're so delighted to be on this ride... we're soaking (pun not intended *wink*) everything in and taking truck loadsa mental photographs on the way. We also realize there has been similar curious questions regarding *bisou* bonbon and figured, "Eureka! Let's make an FAQ!" We'll be starting with the first 2 most popular Frequently Asked Questions and will continually add it along.

Merci beaucoup mon cherie for your awesome support! So *ahem* here we go:

Why do we love our body scrub?

First thing first, we use only Himalayan salt in our body scrub. We are proud to claim that everything in your scrub jar is 100% Himalayan salt and we do not mix it with other properties (e.g table salt etc). We use quality-grade carrier oils, butters and essential oils in our products. You will find that we try hard to squeeze in as much goodies as we can into a jar.. we’re talking manuka honey, shea butter, sweet almond oil, grape seed oil. We firmly believe good things shouldn’t come with a massive pricetag which is why we always strive to keep our prices competitive. It’s not about the money-money-money, we just want to make a kick-ass body scrub for you and ourselves... oh that and the world dance :)

Are your products organic?

According to Wikipedia: Organic farming is the form of agriculture that relies on techniques such as crop rotation, green manure, compost and biological pest control to maintain soil productivity and control pests on a farm. Organic farming excludes or strictly limits the use of manufactured fertilizers, pesticides (which include herbicides, insecticides and fungicides), plant growth regulators such as hormones, livestock antibiotics, food additives, and genetically modified organisms.

Basically a product can only be called organic if every single ingredient in the product has been obtained via the route as mentioned above. There are standards of regulations and certifications materials must adhere to in order to be deemed organic. As we’re unable to obtain organic certifications of ALL the ingredients used in our products we will not claim so. We are, though, 100% natural and free of artificial fragrance, preservatives and colouring.

awaiting our new gadget!

Found this on an online garage sale on Lowyat forum and am in the process of acquiring it. Affordable coffee grinders are rare in KL so imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this chap's site lelong-ing it off post-impulsive buy: he imagined he would be making an espresso for himself each morning ;) I will need an adapter but I don't think that's a big problem.

I can't wait to create something new for the *bisou* bonbon line with the grinder. Perhaps a facial scrub could be in the making after all...
